About Me
Hello I am Sean Mulligan and I am a creative in every sense of the word. I am a specialty camera op, a producer, a creator. I am a SoCal native, and it is in my blood to be on set, and cannot seem to turn off my sharp eye.
I strive to be constantly evolving. In this day and age, where media has been thrown off its equilibrium, I do my best to coordinate and harmonize with the different circumstances I am faced with from one production to another.
I am a spontaneous man, to the point where my girlfriend (now wife) thought I was going to propose when I randomly took her to the beach after work one day. Only to then think that I was joking when I planned a fake production to propose to her at YouTube Studios, where we met originally.
Because of my extensive background in live broadcast, I have developed an imaginative repertoire of base concepts and structures to meet whatever a production needs. I live by the phrase, “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” I have a working knowledge of audio, editing, specialty camera operations,
engineering, producing, and so much more making myself an asset to any production.
Though I am a reserved man, I have an undeniable presence. I aim to exceed expectations, and my determined demeanor is so strong that people often refer to it as my “Sean-biance.” My quiet manner will quickly disappear if I notice an issue being overlooked, or needs to address a mistake being made.
Creative
I can perceive the world in different ways and bringing this ability onto a production set can be an asset. When I catch on to where the project is moving, I can create what needs to be captured through the lens. I will randomly get creative ideas that come with urges to go and make what I envision come to life.
Hard Worker
I take pride in my work ethic. I believe in going above and beyond, not just to get the job done, but to make it the best it can be.
Comunicator
With my experience in working with so many different mediums, it has been crucial to make communication a priority. Especially when working with language barriers, jumping from one production to another, and working with so many different people who have different styles of of communication.
Security
After working with several high-profile productions, I understand the importance of security and non-disclosure. I can guarantee any sensitive information will remain confidential.
Content Creation
I started in a small division of a large network whose audience was preteens. With it being a small division, it came with many limitations which made me think outside of the box when it came to creating content. I learned how to create scripts, design motion graphics, and edit in a time crunch with little to no budget. I utilized what I had on hand to have a presentable product from start to finish.
Networking
Contrary to popular belief, I am quite the extrovert, and I love to network. I know how important it is in this industry to keep your friends working and with food on their tables. I enjoy building connections, but I love making new friendships.
